FARC Attempts to Use a “Donkey Bomb”

•In the south of Colombia, FARC exploded a donkey bomb, and according to feeds.univision.com, no human injuries or deaths resulted from the explosion.
•FARC was attempting to move the donkey, fitted with 40 kilos of explosives, to the center of the hamlet Guayabal in Caquetá.
•This action demonstrates FARC’s desperation in the face of the military’s actions against the group.
•FARC has used other animals in previous attacks such as horses, and in 1996, a donkey with 60 kilos of dynamite and grapeshot which killed 11 police officers. Read Article
