Emergency Commission Costa Rica urges caution during visits to volcanoes

INSIDE COSTA RICA reported – The Comision Nacional de Emergencias (CNE) – Costa Rica’s National Emergency Commission is asking visitors to volcanoes to observe safety precautions to prevent accidents and ensure a safe stay. Some volcanoes are currently under watch by authorities, with the Rincón de la Vieja, Arenal, Poás, Irazú and Turrialba considered the most active.
According to the CNE, neighbouring communities of these volcanoes have received information and input on what to do if the behaviour of the colossus changes and create conditions of greater risk. Read Article
