Eloy Alfaro Ecuador: Workers take over facilities demanding payment from S.S. payments

About 200 employees of the Municipality trabajares and the canton Eloy Alfaro, in northern province of Esmeraldas, took council facilities, at 06:30 today. Demanding payment of contributions to Social Security, the administration of Mayor Richard Mina, there would be canceled from 2005 to 2012. The debt amounts to USD 1.6 million. The strike is indefinite. The island activities are suspended. The workers are demanding that the president of the Provincial Court of Esmeraldas house the remand order against the Mayor, requested by the Attorney minister, Simon Lara, for the crime of falsifying public documents.
