Dr. Marc Becker is a professor of history at Truman State University. Specializing in Ecuadorian Indigenous issues and politics he is an author of several books dealing with Ecuador. His recent book “Pachakutik – Indigenous Movements and Electoral Politics in Ecuador” is an excellent study of politics in Ecuador. He has been kind enough to visit with us on May 18, 2011, to discuss his perspectives of the referendum vote in Ecuador on May 7, 2011.
