Ecuador’s new oil well near border with Peru pumping about 5000 barrels a day

The Ecuadorian state oil company Petroamazonas today announced the start up of a new oil well that produces 4915 barrels daily. The well, which is in the Amazonian province of Orellana, on the border with Peru, is located in the Campo del Oso Block 7 and to extract the crude extract had to make a horizontal, the company explained in a statement.
