Ecuador’s government issues new rules on television content between certain hours

telegrafo.com reported that the government has issued new rules on the content permitted for broadcast by Ecuadorian TV stations between the hours of 06:00 to 18:00. All programmig must be deemed suitable for all age groups including children. Regulators say the rules do not prohibit the broadcasting of telenovelas (soap operas), as long as they don’t contain sexually explicit or violent material. Read Article
