Ecuador: Victim of Escopolamina, Dangerous Barbiturates

ElDiario.com.ec reports that a mother brought her teenage daughter to the hospital Rafael Rodriguez Zambrano after she found her unconscious near a store in Eloy Alfaro Parish where the girl was buying sweets, last weekend. The teenager says that she was walking to the store when a group of individuals in a car approached her and demanded that she drink a liquid they provided. If not, they said that she would be kidnapped. She says that after she drank the liquid she fainted and the assailants fled. The doctors at the hospital and police think she was a victim of escopolamina or burundanga.Read Article
