Ecuador: the dolphins of Puerto de el Morro

Posted on November 6, 2013 • Filed under: Ecuador, TRAVEL

One of the largest tourist attractions in Ecuador are the infamous whales. In over thirty years of studying Ecuador I am always amazed at new discoveries one can experience in this emerald of a country. Between Guayaquil and Playas there is a small fishing village called Puerto de el Morro. While fishing is the mainstay here tourism has grown over the last few years with the untouched mangroves and a surprise………… hundreds of dolphins. Puerto del Morro is located about 15 kim from the Pacific Ocean.
