Ecuador: teenage pregnancies, 45,708 births recorded in 2011

Pichincha continued, with 15,810; Manabi, with 13,378, and Rivers, with 9288. Ecuador recorded a total of 122,301 adolescent mothers for that year. There it was established that pregnancy under 14 increased by 74% in the last decade. It is the only figure. In ten years teenage pregnancy in the country increased by 2.3 points, according to a comparative yearbooks births from 2001 to 2011, which exposes the INEC.
