Ecuador: surveillance cameras now in 42,000 taxis, buses

elcomericio.com.ec reported that Surveillance cameras are now installed in 42,100 taxis and buses in Quito, Esmeraldas, Riobamba, Guayaquil, Santa Elena, Cuenca, Santo Domingo, Manta, Portoviejo, Latacunga, Machala, Ibarra, Ambato, Quevedo, Babahoyo and Azogues. In 2014 cameras will be installed in Loja, Carchi, Nueva Loja, Orellana, Pastaza, Morona and Zamora. The safety kits are now in 9,005 of the 12,000 legal taxis in Quito. Read Article
