Ecuador: Some financial service costs to be reduced in 2013, including ATM fees

The costs for financial services that will be effective the first quarter of 2013 were issued by the Banking Board, in them there is a decrease in the value of online transactions such as transfers or withdrawals from ATMs. The Banking Board mandates free for 17 financial services including card issuance and maintenance, as well as activation and cancellation or closing accounts, among others. Besides the resolution reduces by 10 percent the cost of 36 types of services with respect to the values ​​of the last quarter of this year. These services include online interbank transfers that cost 45 cents since January, when its value today is 50 cents. The withdrawal of money from ATMs of other bank also reduced its cost of 50-45 cents. Read Article
