Although it’s been about five years, faculty and staff at the University of Cuenca who accepted retirement, have not reached an agreement with the university authorities about the table and the amounts to be applied to retirement.
According to Juan Antonio Neira, secretary of the Association of Retired University servers, the administrative authority of the university, the rector Fabian Carrasco, does not take a decision and has delegated responsibility to the University Council.

“What we ask is that the University complies with the constitutional mandate number two, which determines the amounts set for retirement, including the teachers and university servers, unified seven basic wages for each year of service up to a maximum of 210 “said Neira.
