Ecuador: Rafael Correa warns of resurgence of right-wing forces in the region

telesurtv.net reported President Rafael Correa issued a statement warning of a resurgence of right-wing forces throughout the region. In his weekly presidential address Ecuadorean President Rafael Correa warned that a “resurgence of conservative sectors is occurring both nationally and internationally” in an attempt to undermine his administration and other progressive left-wing Latin American governments. “You can see examples of this not only in the case of Ecuador but also against the Venezuelan, Argentinian and Brazilian governments. Look at what they are trying to do to Christina [Fernandez], Dilma [Rousseff]… we must maintain a state of high-alert,” Correa stated. Read Article
