Ecuador: President Correa names new ministers

The president of Ecuador, Rafael Correa, today named new ministers of Defense, Policy Coordination and Environment, and a new National Secretariat for Migrants, in positions left by members of the ruling movement that are candidates in the upcoming elections. The new ministers were sworn in today by a ceremony in the Yellow Room of the Presidential Palace. Maria Fernanda Espinosa, Minister of Heritage now Ecuador, became the third woman to head the Defense Ministry. Read Article
