Ecuador: no crab harvesting or consumption for one month beginning 08-15-2012

For 31 days, starting today, will be prohibited the capture, marketing and consumption of red crabs (Ucides occidentalis) and blue (Cardisoma crassum), because it begins its molting season, that is, change the shell. This is the second year ban. The first took place between January 15 and February 15 for the breeding season of the crustacean.
