Ecuador military on Maximum alert for guerrila (FARC) attacks on border with Colombia

Posted on November 16, 2013 • Filed under: Border Issues, Colombia, Crime, Ecuador, FARC reported that International editorial action, apparently committed by the front 48 of the FARC in the border with Ecuador, killed the patrol police, Jesus David Gaona. Early indications are that a sniper of the guerrilla shot him from the Ecuadorian side and killed him. The incident took place in the San Miguel international bridge, where the authorities of the two countries keep permanent watch in order to counter any act that alter public order. Read Article
