Ecuador: Man detained for threatening messages sent from his stolen phone

Kléver Muñoz has been held the last two months/ Failed to report his cellphone had been stolen.

lahora.com.ec reported…Provided there is a settlement today July 16, 2015 Kléver Muñoz was presented through the media nationwide, offer a public apology to President Rafael Correa, the people of Tabacundo and local authorities of the canton.

This after threatening from his cell last April 14 sent messages, forcing an official act that Correa planned with the population of Pedro Moncayo is suspended.

Muñoz said his mistake was not having reported the theft of his cell, which occurred two years ago.
