Ecuador imports emergency supply of measles vaccine

Matter of urgency Ecuador 1.2 million doses of vaccine for a strain of measles confront Africa and prevent an outbreak of the disease detected in the center of the country spread to the mainland, said on Wednesday the Ministry of Health. The Secretary of Health, Fatima Franco, said the strain of measles known in this country was eradicated since 2006 after constant vaccination campaigns. Read Article
