Ecuador: Govt counters allegations of repression during demonstrations

It was responding to accusations made by U.S. based organization Human Rights Watch (HRW).Interior Minister Jose Serrano announced during a televised interview that the government will sue the lawyer who told HRW that students and protesters detained on September 17 and 18 were tortured by the police.
