Ecuador: German tourist may get four years prison in attempt to smuggle Iguanas from Galapagos Islands

German tourist Dirk Bender has been convicted of animal trafficking in a Quito court where he was accused of altering the ecosystem. The defendant could receive from two to four years in prison. Dirk Bender attempted to smuggle four iguanas from the Galapagos in July of 2013. Read Article
