My family and I are searching for my cousin who’s currently in Ecuador, we haven’t heard from her in 2 weeks now and we are worried sick for her safety. All we know is that due to the earthquake it might be inaccessible for her to communicate with us, tho the last 2 locations we know she was in is ; Vilcabamba and Banos. We also know that she was leaving for the mountains before the earthquake hit. We are not familiar with Ecuador and any locations where she could be located, this is why we need your help to find her and make sure she’s safe.

Here’s a description of my cousin;

Her name is Jolene Delange, she’s 26 years old, her birthday is on September 6th 1989. She’s about 180 cm tall and skinny, green/blue eyes. She’s traveling alone with a blue backpack. She’s one of the most caring loving person I know, very friendly.

So please, share this post to people that lives in Ecuador who could help us retracing her and ensure that she’s not injured, she has traveled quite a lot on her own, so we know that she’s smart and possibly safe somewhere in the mountains or city and perhaps has no way to communicate with us. We’re really hoping to find her and hear back from her soon and for that, we need all the help we can get!

Of course, we also want to show respect and send all our blessings and prayers to all the families/friends out there who are also affected by this terrific event, our hearts and thoughts are with all of you.

Sincerely,

Yanic Thériault
