Ecuador: Doctors believe government more interested in quantity over quality

The eight hours of work and the prosecution of medical malpractice were the main points discussed during the meeting of doctors that developed yesterday in Guayaquil. The doctors agreed that eight hours of continuous work is endangering the health professional. That with this embodiment, the Government believes in quantity rather than quality. The last option proposed professional work up to six hours, although the studies that supported it warned that time is a risk to the doctor, which is prone to heart disease, cerebrovascular infarction, irritability and even depression.
