Ecuador: Animal Rights Group Setting Up Wildlife Hospital

examiner.com reported…MANABI, Ecuador – Prominent animal rights organization Global Conservation Group announced today that it has plans to construct a state of the art wildlife rehabilitation center in the country. The facility will be in Manabi. The free services will be offered 24/7 to wildlife and stray animals in need of assistance.

Timothy Green, the group’s Vice President said in a press release “The lack of medical attention that are afforded to wild animals in South America is severely substandard.” Green said “It’s important to realize that just as people, animals also need care, which is exactly what we plan to provide them with.” Read Article
