Drug Violence in Guerrero, Mexico leaves 953 dead

The gang wars and drug violence has left a toll of 953 dead in Guerrero, Mexico during the first half of the year reported Proceso.com. The amount of violence has also increased in Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo and Taxco, both of which are tourist destination. Acapulco also was affected by this wave of violence with 18 reported executions and several shootings during the visit of ambassadors from over 20 countries. Read Article.
