Dominican Republic on High Alert for Tropical Storm Emily

•The Dominican Republic is on high alert for the Tropical Storm Emily, which is to pass through the island of Hispaniola early tomorrow morning.
•According to prensa-latina.cu, hundreds of people have begun to vacate the areas of high alert.
•The Dominican Armed Forces have initiated plan Relámpago (plan Lightning) to protect ports and airports.
•Emily is headed west at 26 kilometers per hour.
•Puerto Rico, the U.S. Virgin Islands, and other surrounding areas also fall under the alert. Read Article
