DHL Opens New Operations Center in Eldorado Airport in Bogotá, Colombia

•The new 4,000 square meter Hub & Gateway will ensure the timely arrival and departure of imports and exports per businesscol.com.
•This will require an investment of 1.3 million euros and create 30 direct jobs and 60 indirect jobs.
•The company currently is employing 550 Colombians.
•According to Steven Fenwick, CEO of DHL Express Americas, this will allow the company to strengthen its national and international network and adapt to the growing national and international market.
•The center will make sure that packages will arrive and leave as quickly as possible utilizing facilities for different types of packages and the necessary services for the preparing, sending, and receiving of packages.
•Currently this Hub & Gateway serves 8 entering and exiting delivery flights from Panama City and Carracas and provides connecting flights to several different Latin American cities. Read Article
