Dengue Cases in Natal, Brazil, Fall 83% Compared to 2012

On February 27, 2013, G1 reported that health officials in Natal, capital city of Rio Grande do Norte, declared that as of February 22, there have only been 123 cases of dengue in the city of Natal, a drop of nearly 83%.  According to minister of the local Zoonosis Control Center, Isabelle Ribeiro, residents are asked to continue to take caution and prevent themselves from being exposed to the typical means of catching dengue.  She cited the upcoming rainy season and advised people to be careful not to spread the sickness, should they think they have it.  Read Article
