December 2012, most violent month of year in Caracas Venezuela, bodies hidden to skew numbers

The month of December was the most violent of the year in Caracas, judging by the number of corpses received Bello Monte morgue. In total, 542 people died in the metropolitan area. The death toll was 512 in November, while in October was 532. The December figure was 15 percent lower than in 2011, when 623 deaths were recorded. However, according to the Venezuelan newspaper El Nacional , there were many corpses were stored in the cellars of the hospitals to manipulate data.
