•In the department of Risaralda, Colombia, the National Police, the Procuraduría Regional de Risaralda, and the Secretaria de Hacienda de Risaralda have been making efforts to fight against adulterated liquor and contraband of liquor as revealed by eltiempo.com.
•Some homemade liquor is very dangers as it can affect the liver and even cause sudden blindness.
•It can be difficult to tell what liquor is safe or unsafe as vendors of adulterated liquor can obtain seals of safety.
•The authorities have been collaborating with citizens to locate the places where this liquor is sold and produced .
•Through the operations, authorities have confiscated contraband bottles, adulterated liquor and other items such as stamps, shrink wrap, and labels.
•People are recommended not to buy from moving vendors, to make sure that drinks have no questionable objects in them, and that any seals have the guarantee of the Secretary of Health of the Department. Read Article
