Cuenca Ecuador: Negligence charged in medical case leaving young man in state of vegetation

Reported by eluniverso.com that For two years, Leonardo Ramon Salazar Góngora lost mobility in his body after surgery. Nancy Salazar, the young mother of 24, has tried to sue for alleged negligence against the hospital Carrasco Jose Arteaga, the Social Security Institute of Cuenca. “My son entered walking with their five senses and a nose surgery, on February 26, 2010, but then left without speaking, and worse still until today,” said Salazar, as she tries to hold back tears.
