Cuenca Ecuador: six percent of students victims of bullying, 39 percent at risk

When a child who used to play and be active, suddenly changed his nature, is isolated, is most of the time silent, nervous or becomes aggressive might be suffering from “bullying” or bullying, as Blanche Shephard, a clinical psychologist, who last year conducted a survey in 74 city schools. The investigation was conducted by the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Cuenca and showed that six percent of children suffer bullying and 39 percent are at risk of becoming a victim of one of the oldest forms of violence, Shephard said. The research was conducted with a sample of 556 children, who were interviewed and observed directly. Read Article
