Cuba Alert: Experts advising measures by travelers to avoid cholera

Experts from Hospital Clínic of Barcelona today launched a warning to travelers going to Cuba to take precautionary measures, such as bottled water, to prevent the spread of cholera, which has entered the Caribbean island decades after the last outbreak. Available vaccines against cholera have limited effectiveness, and usually not recommended, highlights the coordinator of a Travel Service International (SAVI) of Clínic, José Muñoz, through a statement.
