Costa Rica’s International Airport To Double Capacity

With an investment of us$153 million the Juan Santamaría (San José) airport, will also have a new passenger terminal of 22.000 square metres, that will include nine more lounges, as well as an additional commercial area of at least 3.300 square metres. The expansion will be of a new building to be built west of the current terminal according to the master plan submitted by Aeris Costa Rica as part of the of the third and fourth phase of the expansion project of Costa Rica’s main airport.
