Costa Rica: Workers protest and request government amend the amount provided in salary raises

Nearly a thousand people rallied yesterday afternoon at the Ministry of Labour to amending the salary increase a few days ago decreatado 5 000 colones. Some unions yesterday held a picket outside the Ministry of Labour and Social Security (MTSS) in an effort to lobby the Government to amend the public sector wage increase decreed last week at ¢ 5 000, But while Labor Minister Sandra Piszk, I made it clear to the leaders of these groups that “the issue is closed.”

About a thousand people came to Barrio Tournon to be felt before Piszk and company and government representatives in this matter, but the issue continues without reaching a common point and the cries of these workers were neither heard, at least in this opportunity.
