Costa Rica: Workers protest and request government amend the amount provided in salary raises

Some unions yesterday held a picket outside the Ministry of Labour and Social Security (MTSS) in an effort to lobby the Government to amend the public sector wage increase decreed last week at ¢ 5 000, But while Labor Minister Sandra Piszk, I made it clear to the leaders of these groups that “the issue is closed.”
