Costa Rica, CNE holds a green alert for the remainder of the rainy season

The National Emergency Commission (CNE) decided today to keep the green alert (ask all institutions to be on the lookout for any need) to all the cantons of the Pacific coast and Central Valley, for the remainder the rainy season. The decision was taken because the activity will continue with heavy rain showers in the afternoon and today much of the country has saturated soils, landslides in different areas and flooding problems, given the limited capacity of river channels, streams and infrastructure rainwater.
