Cordoba, Argentina: Shelter for Trafficking Victims Inaugurated

On June 25, 2013 La Voz reported that Susana Trimarco and the Fundación María de los Ángeles have inaugurated a third shelter in Cordoba, Argentina. The shelter will provide free and comprehensive legal and psychological assistance to victims of human trafficking. Fundación María de los Ángeles became operational in 2007. The house in Cordoba is the third shelter inaugurated by the foundation, which also has houses in Tucumán and Buenos Aires.
The shelter in Cordoba will receive trafficking complaints and assist relatives who come for help, as well as hold seminars and lectures on various aspects of trafficking, including how to prevent it and the most common methods of recruitment and capture. Read Article
