Colombia’s exports up substantially in September compared to 2011

According to figures from the National Bureau of Statistics, Dane, revealed yesterday, exports in September amounted to U.S. $ 4,481.8 million, while in the same month last year the amount was U.S. $ 3,291.2 million.
The 56.3% increase in traditional exports from U.S. $ 1,968.3 million in September 2010 to U.S. $ 3,075.6 million in the same month of 2011 are a result of higher sales of petroleum and its derivatives grew 52 7%.
