Colombia to purchase 20 million dollars a day for reserves over the next three months

Colombia’s central bank decided on Friday to increase the level of international reserves through daily purchases of at least 20 million through competitive auctions over the next three months.

La decisión del emisor se produce en momentos en que el peso colombiano experimenta una fuerte apreciación que acumula un 7,95 por ciento en lo que va del año. The issuer’s decision comes at a time when the Colombian peso experienced a strong appreciation that builds up 7.95 percent so far this year.
