Colombia President: Will Expel Companies That Pay Extortion To Rebels

Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos said Thursday that any company that pays extortion money to outlawed rebel groups will be kicked out of the country. The president’s comments come after reports of a possible or planned payment by Canadian oil firm Talisman Energy Inc. (TLM, TLM.T) to secure the release of oil workers who were kidnapped earlier this week. Read Report
