Colombia: Narcotics police destroy 24 drug processing laboratories

The narcotics police destroyed 24 laboratories for processing cocaine base belonging to criminal gangs and guerrillas of the FARC and ELN, the official said on Monday. General Luis Alberto Perez, commander of the Narcotics Police, said at a news conference that the laboratories were located in the northern departments of Antioquia, Bolivar, Cordoba and Sucre, and belonged to “the criminal gang ‘Los Urabeños’ .. ., and narco-terrorist groups”of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, or FARC and National Liberation Army, ELN.
