Colombia: Military deactivates landmines in Antioquia planted by FARC

caracol.com reported that Artillery Battalion No.4 ‘Colonel Jorge Eduardo Sánchez Rodríguez’ Organic Fourth Army Brigade, reported on the location and destruction Artillery Battalion Colonel Jorge Eduardo Sanchez Rodriguez, two mines planted by 36 Front guerrillas of the FARC, the side of a road in the village of La Calera Briceño Township, in northern Antioquia. The two IEDs, built in the form of pressure, were destroyed by controlled explosions, thereby preventing a new attack against human rights and international humanitarian law. Read Article
