Colombia: lowest per capita consumption of bread in Latin America

Radiosantafe.com reports that the National Association of Manufacturers of Pan (Adepan) presents the first report baker sector in Colombia, Colombia has the lowest per capita consumption of the Latin American region with a gauge of 23 kg of bread a year.

According to ANDI, this consumption represents 1.7 percent of the total expenditure of a Colombian average income and 2.4 percent of low-income one. Venezuela consumption is 30 kg. Argentina 73 kg per capita and Chileans consume 98 kilograms per capita. Read Article
