Colombia, Government seeks to criminalize racism

The Government announced an struggle against racism in the country. From Quibdó (Chocó), the Minister of Interior and Justice, Germain Vargas Lleras, announced that the government will seek to “punish” acts harshly still exist in Colombia.
Vargas announced that the punishment will be harder given that such discrimination should be eradicated. On the other hand, the Government signed and presented the first major engagement with the country’s black communities. Read Article
