Colombia to boost military presence on border with Venezuela

The Colombian government announced on Friday that it will increase military presence on the border with Venezuela to counter the presence of guerrilla groups in that area. “We know for sure that all the cocaine, produced in this region, is coming out through the border” with Venezuela, Minister of Interior and Justice German Vargas Lleras said in the town of Tibu in the border province of Norte de Santander.
