Colombia, Army and Police launched evacuation of oil workers in Puerto Gaitán

1. Communities of Puerto Gaitan Meta, for more than 6 years have been demanding municipal authorities, departmental, and national, as well as oil operators, the solution to a range of social, environmental, economic and employment without get any positive response.

2.Cepcolsa Spanish oil multinational, which operates the fields of Jaguar, Sitting Bull, and Cara Cara, in association with Ecopetrol, in the municipality of Puerto Gaitán – Meta, Republic of Colombia.

3. Cepcolsa Multinational proceeded to cancel in an arbitrary and irregular, its contract with the contractor JM Mounts leaving work to more than 1,100 workers who had taken the decision to join our union, in an open-busting .

4. RUBIALES PACIFIC ENERGY oil multinational, Canadian-owned oil fields exploited in the fields and QUIFA RUBIALES in association with Ecopetrol, in the municipality of Puerto Gaitán – Meta, Republic of Colombia. Read Article
