Colombia and Peru Relations Vital to Fight Drug Trafficking

According to ElComercio.pe Maria Angela Holguin, Chancellor of Colombia today, Wednesday June 29th, stressed the importance of Colombian-Peruvian relations, the work of the Pacific Alliance and the fight against narco-trafficking. The Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos and President-elect Ollanta Humala are holding meetings this afternoon in Bogotá. Holguin adds that the Pacific Alliance is an important organization that will help Colombia along with partners, Peru, Chile, and Mexico to become stronger and more competitive for an Asia alliance. On the subject of drug trafficking, Holguin says that Colombia and Peru will fiercely fight against drug organizations, adding that Humala has a different approach to fighting drug trafficking in Peru.Read Article
