Colombia, alarming increase of AIDS cases in housewives in Quindío

Ines Elena Jimenez an epidemiologist reported to Caracol Radio that there has been an almost 35 percent increase in AIDS cases among housewives in the Department of Quindío. The blame is placed on husbands who continue to live promiscious lifestyles. Most of the women learn they are carrying the virus while they are pregnant. Health authorities have intensified prevention campaigns. Read Article
