Colombia, 41 killed in political violence before upcoming local, regional elections

With 41 candidates in local and regional elections killed, Colombians go the polls next Sunday after one of the most violent campaigns of recent years and the first with Juan Manuel Santos as president the country. The cases were documented by the Electoral Observation Mission (EOM), a private organization that collected in a report to the Electoral Monitoring Committee (SSC) state, which met and discussed today in Bogota closed.
