Cocaine-laden cargo ship run by Colombians stopped near Cadiz, Spain

31 people were arrested in Spain after officials intercepted a cargo ship carrying cocaine off the coast of Cadiz. Over 100 bales of drugs were seized on board, weighing about 3,000 kilos. The ship was to be picked up by a Galician group, which would distribute the drugs in Spain. Colombians living in Madrid organized the details of the operation. The cocaine had been sent from South America by Bulgarian citizens. The drug route from South America to Spain has been deeply investigated by authorities, who believe the Galician group would take drugs into Spain through the Costa da Morte port. Read Article
